It is important that parents find out as much as possible about the school and the educational system before enrolment. Enquiries can be made from the receptionist about the school. If further information is needed, teachers and the School Leader can enlighten more.

Children enter classes according to their age. This is very important as the curriculum is based on the age of the child. The kindergarten takes in children from two and a half years of age. Parents are required to present their child’s birth certificate for confirmation of date of birth.

To enter Class One the child must be 6 years on 1st January of any year and will turn 7 years within the year. Similarly to enter Class Two the child should be 7 years by 1st January and will turn 8 years within the year and accordingly through the classes.

Class One children turn 7 years old, they are born in 2010.
Class 2 children turn 8 years and are born 2009 etc.

The receptionist will confirm if there is a space in the class and boarding if applicable.

If the child requires sponsorship – now follow sponsorship procedures – see below

The receptionist will arrange for the child to meet the class teacher, who will interview the child and admit them in class for a few days observation.

After the class teacher has accepted the child the parents should complete the registration form for the child.

At the same time a consent form needs to be completed:

a) For swimming
b) For Christian/Islamic Service
c) For Sponsorship
d) For Media Release

After completion the parent should meet the Manager for confirmation of fees payment.

Kindergarten parents who are bringing their child/children for observation, admission or enquiries are expected to come with them from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.

School Fee Structure:
Kindergarten: KSh 34,650 lunch included
Primary tuition KSh 36,750, lunch included.

Sponsorship procedures

The school offers to find sponsorship for needy families. All families seeking sponsorship are assessed. Our sponsorship programme officer will arrange a visit by two members of the sponsorship committee to the families home. During the visit an assessment form will be completed. The family must give a true picture of their situation and present evidence of their financial status.

Families qualifying for sponsorship are required to contribute what they are capable of paying so as to support their child together with the sponsor. Sponsorship only covers school fees; parents need to provide all other expenses such as books, uniform, trips, etc.
They are expected to attend ALL parents meetings.

After the assessment/visit the sponsorship committee will meet and confirm the sponsorship decision. Parents will be informed of the decision. If sponsorship is successful the child will meet the class teacher, who will interview the child and admit them in class for a few days observation.

Only after the class teacher has accepted the child parents should complete the registration form for the child.

At the same time a consent form needs to be completed:

a) For swimming
b) For Christian/Islamic Service
c) For Sponsorship
d) For School Trip
e) For Medical attention at the discretion of the school

After completion the parent should meet the Manager for final agreement on fee contribution.
